After obtaining his degree in Chemical Engineering he worked in Europe in a chemical laboratory and consultancy firm for over 6 years performing sampling and analysis as well as providing chemical consultancy to ship owners, P&I Clubs and traders. Since 2010 he has been based in Asia to protect CMC clients’ interests on all kinds of cargo quality disputes involving petroleum products, chemicals, vegetable oils, coal, ores and other dry cargoes.

CHEMIST, MARINE CONSULTANT

After obtaining his degree in Industrial Chemistry he joined a chemical laboratory performing samplings and analysis of petroleum products, chemicals and vegetable oils for over 7 years. After that, he joined a chemical consultancy firm for 4 years before joining CMC in 2016. Shan is presently responsible for technical and chemical investigations of complex contamination claims on shipments of petroleum products, chemicals and vegetable oil cargoes.

LICENSED BUNKER SURVEYOR

After obtaining his diploma in Nautical Studies, he sailed on NOL Tanker and container vessels for one and a half years. After that, he worked in a petroleum survey company for six years before joining CMC in 2014 as bunker surveyor. He has performed over 400 bunker surveys in Singapore and various On/Off Hire surveys and Conditions surveys. Ryan is licenced by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore as bunker surveyor.

OPS MANAGER & LICENSED BUNKER SURVEYOR

After obtaining his diploma in shipbuilding and off shore engineering he sailed in the Singapore's Navy for more than 5 years. After that, he worked in a petroleum survey company for 5 years before joining CMC in 2010 as a marine superintendent and bunker surveyor. Since 2015 he manages the operational aspects of CMC while also performing bunker quantity surveys, on/off hire surveys and condition surveys in Singapore and South East Asia.
